Patricia Lynn Belkowitz, CHt., EFT-CC	Erotica-101™ Author Patricia Lynn Belkowitz is certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, an Advanced Therapeutic Imagery Facilitator and an Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner. An author, an artist and a teacher, Patricia was born and raised in New England and has been a resident of California since 1973. Patricia has a hypnotherapy practice offering guidance in personal and professional self-improvement. She specializes in teaching her clients to choose healthy pleasures and to create joy in their lives.
Illustration Nineteen from Erotica-101™	About the Illustrations The 25 illustrations of Erotica-101™ are the result of a collaborative and cooperative effort between the publisher/designer, Nancy Haberman and the author, Patricia Lynn Belkowitz. Using a full range of technology, from scraps of paper and dull pencils to sophisticated computer drawing programs, the artists created the minimalist line drawings. Just as the stories of Erotica-101™ require the imagination of the reader, the illustrations also ask that the viewer “fill in the blanks”. The illustration process started by creating a simple pencil sketch which was then scanned into the computer. Using Adobe Illustrator’s pen tool, the initial drawing was created and a brush stroke added. Lines were then systematically eliminated until the image was reduced to the bare minimum. Although each of the drawings began with the individual artist’s idea, by the end of the process the image was the result of both contributors. By eliminating ego from the project, they were able to produce the images in a very short period of time, while maintaining a consistency and continuity throughout the collection.
